Before joining RGTH, Dr. Manfred Pohl and Dr. Ralf Stüven have been working in their own law firm in the city of Hamburg for many years. The two German and European patent attorneys have many years of professional experience and both are specialists in the biological-chemical field.
Dr. Manfred Pohl is mostly working in the areas of patent and trademark law. One focus of his work as a patent attorney is the preparation of patent applications, conducting patent nullity proceedings and advising in the field of technology transfer. He has extensive knowledge in the field of microbiology and plant biotechnology.
Dr. Ralf Stüven advises his clients in all areas of intellectual property, especially in relation to obtaining, defending and enforcing patents and trademarks. The main focus of his practice is the drafting and prosecution of patent applications and conducting opposition proceedings.
